Break The Floor Cannes

Today, I would like to present to you a surprising and an energetic visual show called Break the Floor. It is a rendez-vous of break dancers that cannot be overlooked. This event is sponsored by SMART and Redbull and therefore has earned a prestigious label as one of the top events in Cannes. Break the Floor was created in 2008 by two young men from Cannes one of whom is Jasim U-kan. He is the organizer and the host of the event.

Break the Floor unites some of the best performers from all around the world to perform in a prestigious show in Palais des Festivals, which is the same venue that hosts the annual Cannes Film Festival in Southern France. Break the Floor is a large public event, which is attended and immensely enjoyed by people of all ages. There, you will find pop, rock, and afro-beat music… and DJ Vientiane, who is one of the world’s most well-known break-beat DJs!

As the break dancers fly into the air, they create a surreal performance. Break the Floor is a world class artistic performance; simultaneously, the event is a sports and acrobatic competition where the best performers compete for a title through defying gravity and testing the limits of the human body.

The performers gather from all over the world, e.g., France, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, and South Korea, at one place and for only one reason: Break the Floor.

The event welcomes with open hands the global artists. I highly suggest for you to experience the event first hand; you will spend an evening with excellent company and share plenty of laughs along the way!
